Church should be open study and open discussion with thoroughly answered questions using scriptures. Pastors are scared of this because they don’t know these books like they want you to think that they do.

Do not let anyone give you fear or guilt trip you into not reading certain books. I admit that some of the Apocryphal texts are pretty damn bad but some of them are absolute truths that we are missing and were critical to understanding what is going on.
With modern technology there truly is no excuse for us to not be studying these scriptures. We can literally play them on YouTube for free and listen to them in our ear buds on the go constantly.
People need to start studying the scriptures for themselves to answer these questions or you are going to be misinformed. Pray to God, not any other name, for help.
99% of the world has a lot of catching up to do, we should have been studying all of these books since we were young instead of occupying our time with nonsense that doesn’t ultimately matter.
